Assassin's Creed II Review
|
Score: 97 / 100 |
| Good: Breathtaking graphics, great overall gameplay, amazing climbing system, an involving and in depth storyline, hours of play time, a game within a game within a game |
| Bad: Combat can get monotonous, laggy graphics and menus at times |

Usually when a sequel is announced, a couple of thoughts go through my head. The first is whether or not it will be anything like the original and the second is wondering how bad they are going to screw up what they had. But, I am happy to report that this sequel does not fit into either one of those categories. In fact, Assassin's Creed II fixed a lot of what was wrong with Assassin's Creed and sits right up there with The Lord of the Rings, The original Star Wars movies, and other sequels that rocked my socks off.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Review
|
Score: 86 / 100 |
| Good: Fun singleplayer, great two player co-op, loads of new weapons, beautiful visuals, fantastic fast paced gameplay |
| Bad: No dedicated servers in MP, no console commands, having to wait while a new host is found in MP, no ping system, no modding capabilities, short (3.5 hours) singleplayer, and $10 more expensive than other PC games. |

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 was supposedly the biggest entertainment release and the most anticipated game of all time. It has sold millions of copies and made millions of dollars in one of the shortest spans of any video game...ever. But, is it really that epicccccccccc?

Modern Warfare 2 UNreview
It is two days after the launch of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and I didn't buy it. In fact, I refuse to.
Here is the scoop: I own a PS3 and a PC. I love my PS3 for a lot of different reasons, but my PC is where the real magic happens. This is where I have come to expect little things like console commands, dedicated servers, modding capabilities, and cheaper titles. I can even say that I have shelled out thousands of dollars for games on the PC and haven't regretted it (mostly).

Trine Review
|
Score: 85 / 100 |
| Good: Very interesting story line with amazing support, including in game narration and music that complements the mood. Three characters in one which gives an interesting angle on game play and puzzle solving. |
| Bad: Puzzles could be more challenging. Rotating objects with the wizard is very clunky and frustrating. Enemies are easily defeated. |

Trine is an adventure / puzzle side-scroller that brings an interesting spin to the genre. Unlike most side scrollers where you play as one character, you have the option to become any one of three characters at any given point in time by the push of a button.
